Fuerteventura is a diving paradise and because of the weather you can practice the sport throughout the year.

On the east coast of the island, you will find the largest number of dive centers in Fuerteventura that offer many different types of diving and a wide range of professional services.

North of Fuerteventura, the protected nature reserve of Isla de Lobos offers more than 20 dive sites. It is also one of the most popular diving areas in the Canaries. In crystal clear water, the diving spots are all more impressive than the others.

South of Fuerteventura, off the lighthouse of Jandia, is a spectacular enclave known as Veril Grande. This dive site combines both a white sand bottom, a vertical wall that starts at 20 meters and small caves. This spot is ideal to admire many species including angel sharks, stingrays, garden eels and at times, Manta rays and whale sharks.

Fuerteventura is one of the most popular surfing destinations in Europe and every year it attracts surfers of all kinds of levels and all parts of the world. And it's easy to understand why. The island of Fuerteventura is also known as the “Hawaii of Europe” for its similar climate and several points of interest to surf.

The island has more white sand beaches than any other island in the Canary Islands and is famous for its waves of all sizes.The north coast has “World Class” waves. The east coast and its sandy beaches are perfect for beginners.  The best time to surf starts in September until the end of March.
