The Mirador de Sicasumbre is Fuerteventura's first astronomical viewpoint, a unique place designed for both enjoying the daytime landscape and stargazing. It is located in the municipality of Pájara, on high ground and far from light pollution.
During the day, it offers spectacular panoramic views towards the Jandía Natural Park and the island's west coast. At sunset and into the night, it transforms into a privileged window to the universe.
The viewpoint is equipped with information panels about the constellations, a sundial, and supports where amateur astronomers can set up their own telescopes and cameras. It is the perfect spot for nature and astronomy lovers.
